New Years Day Easy Ride to Lymm

There were 15 of us out enjoying some sunshine on our New Years Day easy ride .

Simon G was returning to his bike after a few weeks off, and we had a new couple, Rob and Ali, out with us - welcome! Other riders were Cath B, Kirsten, Simon R, Jim, Griff, Mark H, both Phil B' s, Gawsworth John, Jack on his trike, John J and me. We were slower than usual, with some regrouping at junctions needed, but the roads were fairly quiet and we all had a good chat. Costa Coffee at Lymm services coped very well with the instant queue we created and we were served promptly. We rode back to Wilmslow via Rostherne and Ashley. 8 of us decided to put off going home with a second Costa stop, this time in Alderley. The next easy ride will be on Sunday, starting from Macclesfield, we plan to split into two groups at Siddington, with a slower group taking a shorter route to the cafe.
