Wed Club Run to Dunham

The call came through on the Batphone at 0930 hours.

Our Dear Leader was stricken with a capitalist-inspired virus and it fell to me to select a ride from the famous Wheelers back catalogue and guide my comrades. No problems getting to Red House Farm where we enjoyed what was probably the best cafe meal I’ve had in a long time, delicious home made baked beans, and even a choice of oat or almond milk to accompany our large teapots.

My Garmin malfunctioned after this which made our return leg a little ragged but no matter, I returned home after 66 miles at an average speed of 14.8 mph. As we approached Macclesfield, our shouts rang out in unison: Get Well Dear Leader!
