Claggy Easier Training Ride @ 10-2-7

Conditions were not ideal, the clag was pretty thick in places but at least there was little wind and we made a decent ride of it.

On just his second outing at 10-2-7 Bennett G slotted nicely into a team tt style 4 up doing strong turns and keeping up a good training pace. Like last week it was well disciplined , no missed turns and the same order for the whole circuit. Making up the squad were; Col Y, Steve L and Fred W.

Anticipating a slower ride than normal we decided on a slightly shorter circuit than normal cutting through Goostrey, but as the ride progressed we got more confident riding in the poor viz and confident in each other which was all good experience. The main problem was spotting potholes but happily no damage was done.

It was great to have Bennett joining us again after he had a tough ride with us a few weeks ago. He will become a better and stronger cyclist by making the effort to come out on the 10-2-7 ride and others can do likewise, that’s what the ride is all about.
