Just a Ride 11th July 2019

“It was a bit bumpy!”.

It was wet to start with, a bit wet in the middle and a bit wet at the end, and a bit dry inbetween.

Four started on our gravel ride after a sudden downpour, but our numbers were reduced to three by a recurring puncture issue. Fortunately this gave our next member opportunity to catch up after she herself had punctured on the way to the start. So four of us continued with extra gravel added with the knowledge of dirt track guru Roger. We explored seldom ridden (by a bicycle anyway) tracks and even more gravel was observed at the nearby gravel pits.

We did get wet, but the rain was very welcome as it soothed our nettle stung arms and legs.
