Gravel ride report

Four enjoyed the sunshine on our first gravel ride of December

Raph, Alison, Sue E and myself enjoyed a leisurely 30 odd miles around the lanes near Alderley, Wilmslow, Handforth and Poynton. Despite the overnight rain the tracks and bridleways weren’t quite as muddy as expected and Sue coped admirably on her new gravel bike.

A quick break at Handforth in the best value ever Subway (a roll, coffee and cookie for £4, beat that!) half way round gave us a rest from the wind.

Stats according to my strava being 32 miles at an average of 10mph, back home by 2pm.

Next gravel/MTB in two weeks, the route and terrain decided nearer the time.
