Just a Ride around Congleton

Six enjoyed a grrreat route on a dry evening around Bosley, Congleton and Marton.

After the downpour at 5:30pm we were treated to a dry, warm evening to enjoy a varied route skirting around Congleton.

Setting off Through Sutton and up Hollin Lane climbing to the A54 got us all nicely warmed up, then a fast descent to Smithy Lane around the East shore of Bosley Reservoir.

A quick stretch on the Leek Road took us to Woodhouse Green up and down some fantastic narrow lanes then a long fast descent into the southern area of Congleton.

Past the golf course into Astbury, a quick stint by the side of the A34 , then circling around the west side of the town before returning along the Marton Lanes.

Back in the pub in time for food and drinks, what more could you ask for?

Great to see Nigel out recovering well from his op, and Alison recovering from a bad cold, joined by Mark H, Rob M and Brian E.
