Sunday Training Ride 9 Dec
A big turnout today for the Sunday training ride, and another good ride with all the usual features such as a headwind, no stopping, a hit out on the way back into Macc and back before midday.
The route took us through Wilmslow, Mobberley, Ashley and around the perimeter of Tatton park where a ‘Yule Yomp’ forced a u-turn and a short diversion to get to Ladies Mile, then on to plumley and the reverse of the Byley circuit back to Macc. 14 completed the full circuit: Tom G, Mark P, Carl G, Ant L, Steve L, Dom S, Rich D, Dave R, Ollie S, Matt Y, Tom, guest riders Matt and Lachlan from North Cheshire Clarion, and me (Jo). Average speed was around 18.8mph, bit higher than advertised probably because of the number out. Sun shone on us all the way round, btw…
