Sunday Easy Ride to Shipbrook

17 very excited Macclesfield Wheelers made it to Shipbrook today for some socially distanced catching up in small groups.

8 of us started from Wilmslow, so split into two groups of 4. John led Jim, Griff and Mark, whilst I led Pat, Jo and Simon R, until the wind got too much and I took shelter behind Simon's wheel.

Sue and Simon Gr had offered to lead from Broken Cross, They were joined by Jack on his trike, Vinney, Peter J, Gawsworth John, Phillip B and picked up Simon G partway. I am not sure what the original group split was but my group of 4 caught Sue and Gawsworth John a few miles before Shipbrook and formed a steady pace group of 6.

At Shipbrook there was a bit of a queue for take out food, mainly due to Macc Wheelers, plus a rather cold Rob who had made his own way there and saved us a picnic table.

The food was the usual high standard, but it was rather cold sat outside, so we didn't stay too long. We had a slightly different split of groups on the way back, those heading back to Wilmslow avoided the snow, but Sue got caught in some.
