A good day for a hilly ride to Alsager via Mow Cop and a flat ride home via Middlewich
Although the forecast was damp, dull and dreich the weather turned out to be much more pleasant than forecast and the route profile with a hilly first half and flat ride home provided a good balance between challenging hills and fast lanes for the three of us (Steve, Paul and Raph). The 52 mile route with 2900 feet meant that we got back to Macc in daylight including time for a cafe stop (and meet up with the Larklings) at the Hall Farm Shop in Alsager. Raph
