Easier Training Ride @ 10-2-7 on 29th August

There were no records broken (well not by me anyway) but we did have a decent chain gang.

It wasn’t as quick or as smooth as sometimes but it was well disciplined. We've got plenty of excuses for not being back at the Park Tavern before Stretchy opened his stall:. Unlucky with traffic at junctions, a puncture, a dropped saddle bag, the headwind on the way out just seemed to stay with us and then just tired legs.

I can’t report on the top three result at the Wizard but I guess Chris and Bennett battled it out. For a change I can report on the last three over the line; Dave A, Jill and yours truly Fred W last.

Thanks to Dave for giving me a tow up Welsh Row and the rest of the mutually supportive riders: Rich, Rachel, Andy, occasional Mark B rather than regular Mark B, Fozzie Rob, Rob M, Griff, Dave H and new to the ride Snowden who slotted in well.
