Wednesday Club Run to Ashford-in-the-Water

Here’s the route we did:

Here’s the delightful cafe Aisseford Tea Room where we sat outside in the sun (note they don’t take credit cards).

Still wondering who texted me at 10.34 asking if I was on the hilly route. Since I am not very good at looking at my phone, my apologies to the mystery rider for not answering until we reached the cafe at 12.45.

Chris

Dave, Moray, Raph, Andy, Simon at mile 11, with the iconic A53 behind us (and a few climbs ahead of us).

This is Dave enjoying a mile of this between approx miles 25 and 26, known as Leys Lane then Cherpit Lane. Not exactly deliberate but, unusually, it worked OK, even for me, and I am off-road averse (and expect to remain so).
