Lark Ride to Hartington

I really think that this was the best day’s cycling I’ve had for yonks.

Absolutely fantastic scenery in beautiful weather, quick service in a new (to most, if not all, of us) cafe, Hartington Farm Shop & Cafe, considerate riding by all with no one going off the front all day, new lanes to many of us, including me, and even an (unplanned) off road section that, for once, turned out just fine and even gave us some more spectacular scenery.

My average speed for 57 miles 12.1 mph, including descending the Cat. 11.1 to the top of the Cat. 13 riders set out, 11 at the cafe, 11 back to Macc by about 3.20 pm.
