As I got ready to leave at 09.40, my daughter said, looking out of the window, “Dad surely you’re not going out in that?”. I replied: “We’re the Macclesfield Wheelers. We ride in the rain.” So I did, we did, and do you know what? I had an absolutely splendid day: brilliant ride navigated again without even the aid of a map or a Garmin by the tireless Dave and great to catch up with Moray.
Sure, it rained. So what?
