Thursday Extra Easy Ride to Bollington/ Rainow

There were 6 of us out for last Thursday’s ride from Wilmslow.

We were lucky with the weather (again!) and we enjoyed some lovely lanes through Mottram St Andrew and Kerridge, and survived the madness that is Prestbury! The cafe was busy with walkers, but they had left a table for us, and we were soon enjoying homemade cakes.

On the way back I took a wrong turn soon after the cafe, but Lisa soon had us heading in the right direction. On the outskirts of Alderley we stopped at a garden which sells excess produce and homemade jam. It turned out that Sarah had toured the garden on an open day. The owner was around and he said that he was happy for us to have a look. We came away with all sorts of useful tips, and various goodies in my saddle bag.
