Great cakes at Great Budworth

There were 12 of us out on Easter Sunday for a steady easy ride from Wilmslow to the church hall at Great Budworth.

We rode in two groups on the way out, but within sight of each other. John led the first group, and did some ad-libbing with the route, so we were accompanied by the sound of complaining Garmins and Wahoos from other riders with the route.

There was a slightly panicked look from the church hall refreshment team when we all turned up but they coped well and the cakes were delicious. They will be open every Sunday afternoon through into September now.

We rode back as one group with some more freeform routing but still completed the advertised distance of just over 31 miles.
