Wandering over to Waugh Brow Farm

Heavy rain, illness and a national hill climb at Winnats reduced numbers today.

I rode from Wilmslow with Sarah C, out with us for the first time. We found some quiet lanes, and lots of different bike handling challenges, including tracks, gates, cattle grids, floods, mud, gravel, a level crossing and lots of potholes..

We arrived first at the cafe at Waugh Brow farm, and sat in glorious sunshine, drinking some particularly good coffe and refuelling with huge portions of cake. About 5 minutes later John, Phil and Simon R appeared, having ridden from Broken Cross via a lane with a huge puddle. Mark H then turned up on 4 wheels to make the most of the breakfast options.
