A Soggy Saturday Club Run

10 hardy souls gathered at South Park for the Saturday Club Run to the Roaches.

We split into 2 groups with Rebecca, Simon and Simon in the steadier group and, in the faster group, myself, Mark, Andrew, Tom, Yogi, Dave and Chris.

Following a brisk first few miles we settled into a good rhythm and suddenly realised we had grown in number, having been chased down by Dave T.

A brief mechanical for Andrew was swiftly corrected by Yogi and saw us back underway.

The weather was kind until we approached Rudyard and then the heavens opened.

Andrew opted to return home along the A53 so we were back to 7.

We had a brief stop at the Roaches Tea Room before tackling the remainder of the ride.
