Saturday Clun Run out of 2024 into 2025

Gorillas in the mist or Macc Wheelers in the mizzle ?

That was  the last saturday club run of 2024 attended by eleven stalwarts.

The untried “flatish” route there  turned out to be not quite so flat after Audley, but hey ho it wasn’t far and it was just the job in  the cafe at Middleport pottery, warm dry and good oatcakes. 

It was also warm and dry later for the post-ride social in the Harrington Arm’s but the difference being it wasn’t followed by so much climbing into the clouds to get home like after the Cafe. Suffice to say it wasn’t the best view from the top of Mow Cop, in fact I wouldn’t have even known we were there apart from the road started to go down instead of up.

It’s going to be a seamless transition into 2025 for the saturday club run, continuing on a two weekly basis. Twenty six are on the club calendar, they should be as varied as possible and we will try some new destinations / route’s.
