Saturday Club Run to Riverside Organic Farm Davenham

We had 7 members join the ride at South Park in great sunny but cold/frosty conditions. En-route we were joined by Dave R before we got to the cafe. Apparently he kept seeing us in the distance and missed a turn or two before catching up at a pit stop and then continuing with us to the cafe. As we had pre-booked at the cafe a table had been reserved for us. Following our stop we were joined by Graham W who had cycled out to meet us. We made quick progress back to Macclesfield and onto the warmth of the roaring log fire at the Ship Inn. Overall a pleasant ride after all the wet conditions we have had in the previous weeks. In total we did 50 miles with1740 feet of climbing and an average speed of 14.7mph with no mishaps.
