I have booked a club track session for Macc Wheelers members

Cost will be £10 per person. (It may be a little less if we get enough interest.)

If you have your own track bike that’s it.

If you need to hire a bike that’s £15.33.

The hire bikes come with Look Keo pedals or clips and straps to wear flat soled shoes. You aren’t allowed to change the pedals but if you don’t have Look Keo cleats and you don’t want to ride with flats you can hire shoes with correct cleats for £5.90.

If you do want to hire a bike, shoes etc. then you will need to let me know so I can book them for you. Let me know the frame size you will need.

You do NOT need any track experience or be an accredited rider and the track hire includes a coach.

The riders will be divided into groups that reflect experience. Don’t be concerned that you won’t be fast enough - if you can keep up on ANY of our club rides you will be able to ride the track. Also you won’t be on the track for 3 hours! The session is divided into various sections and you can sit any out if you want to.

All track bikes are fixed wheel with no brakes, but again don’t be put off by this - you will get instruction eveybody quickly gets the idea.
